WE REPAIR DOCUMENTARY

The team behind the WE REPAIR initiative asked us to accompany them on a regular basis with our cameras. We were more than happy to do so.

We participated in many Repair Cafés across three countries. These are events where volunteers repair items that would otherwise have ended up in the trash: small household appliances, clothing and textiles, bicycles, toys, and even simple pieces of furniture.

Our documentary shows what happens when Europeans in rural areas get together to repair things, big and small. And to make it easier for you to do the same, the WE REPAIR crew shares their top tips for organizing a Repair Café. Enjoy the video.

We met some amazing people, visited beautiful rural areas of Europe, and learned a lot about repairs.

Sometimes it’s the simplest tricks that bring a device you thought was lost back to life. And every time it works, everyone there shares in the joy. That’s why the atmosphere at Repair Cafés is so great, and why they can make such a difference in rural areas.

Thank you for your trust, dear WE REPAIR crew and Vulca.
